A downloadable game

In the game you play as Detective Amphibian, who is investigating the  death of August Valentine, the Magician's Assistant. But before you can solve that mystery, you have to figure out how the Magician's tricks work.

You can also download a digital copy of the artbook I put together for the game!

Hi!

i found this game a while ago, and played it today, it's giving detective grimoire&tangle tower vibes, and i love it.

I really hope you continue to work on this because this really is one of the best drawn and written games i found on itch <3

also i have two questions:

What is pipper's gender?

Do you an estimated realease date?

Hey, sorry for replying so late (I hadn’t logged into itch.io in a while)

Thanks for your comment, I’m really happy you enjoyed the game 😊 Detective Grimoire games were a big inspiration, so you were right about that haha

Piper is non-binary and uses any pronouns.

I don’t have any plans to keep working on it right now so there is no release date at the moment, but I would really like to pick it up again and fish it at some point. I want to learn more about programming and game design by working on shorter projects before that though, so I can flesh out the mechanics and puzzle design more.

Thanks so much for showing interest in the game I really appreciate it and it’s given me some much needed motivation to work on personal projects!

Cool, i'm totally here to see other games you have in mind, while still hoping you'll complete this one day 💫

I'm so sad that this is just a demo, I can't wait to see what the full game will be like!

That's really sweet, thank you :)

nice game

Really fun demo! Art is fantastic and love the old school point-and-click feel.

Thanks Jamie, I really appreciate it :)
